Nour Al Akkad is an associate lawyer at Blumbergs Professional Corporation. Nour’s practice focuses on non-profit and charity law, including establishing non-profits and applying for charity status. Nour provides legal services to non-profit organizations and charities, including advising clients in their dealings with the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency.
Prior to joining the firm, Nour completed her licensing work placement in corporate law in Toronto. Nour obtained a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree from Damascus University in 2016, and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in 2020. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
