Amanda Werger is an associate lawyer at Blumbergs Professional Corporation. Amanda’s practice focuses on non-profit and charity law, including establishing non-profits and applying for charity status. Amanda provides legal services to non-profit organizations and charities, including advising clients in their dealings with the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency. Prior to joining Blumbergs, Amanda articled at a full-service law firm in North York. Amanda obtained her Juris Doctor (JD) (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa in 2022 after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (High Distinction) in Legal Studies from Carleton University in 2019. Amanda was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
